RIDOT announces roadwork and closures on Providence highway ramp

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — RIDOT has announced Providence highway ramp roadwork to begin Sunday night, with closures planned for relevant areas.

Pavement repairs will force the closures of the I-195 West to I-95 North ramp in Providence.

The closures will take place from Sunday through Wednesday, beginning at 10 p.m. with the ramp reopening at 6 a.m.

Two right lanes on 195 West will also be closed overnight from the South Main Street exit to the end of the interstate.
