RIDOT launches website to track Washington Bridge rebuild progress

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Commuters can now track the Washington Bridge rebuild process on a new website launched by RIDOT.

RIDOT announced the new site, washingtonbridgerebuild.com, that allows users to access updates, design documents and live traffic.

New bridge construction is expected to begin later in 2026 with the new westbound side of the bridge slated to be open in November of 2028.
