RIDOT to begin Gano Street off-ramp demo after snow delay

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is expected to begin controlled demolition of the Washington Bridge Wednesday.

RIDOT delayed the start due to last weekend’s snow storm.

RIDOT plans to demolish the span for the old Gano Street off-ramp.

Once it does start, they estimate it will take about a week to finish.
