RIDOT to close section of Route 10 to shift lanes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said it would be closing a section of Route 10 southbound to allow for lane shifts Wednesday night.

RIDOT said the closure will occur between Interstate 95 and Park Avenue from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Drivers on Route 10 southbound will be detoured to I-95 southbound, use the Jefferson Boulevard exit, and  use I-95 northbound to the Elmwood Avenue exit.
