RIDOT to shift lanes, open new ramp on Route 146 North in North Smithfield

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said it would be setting up a new traffic pattern on Route 146 North in North Smithfield Wednesday night.

The department said it will close Exit 10 at 9 p.m.

At 6 a.m. on July 24 a shift to the right in travel lanes close to the intersection with Route 146A will be in place.

RIDOT said it will also open a new ramp to provide connection from Route 146A South to Route 146 North at the same time traffic lanes were shifted.
