RIIL allows spectators for on-campus gymnasium events, effective next week

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Due to changing guidance in the state, The Rhode Island Interscholastic League Principals’ Committee on Athletics approved the elimination of the no spectator policy for on-campus gyms.

Effective on March 22, member schools are allowed to follow state guidelines for indoor and outdoor athletic facilities.

RIIL is reminding residents that sporting venues/school facilities can still impose additional conditions or restrictions based upon their ability to comply with regulations.
