RIPTA customer service line now open on weekends
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority said that its Customer Service Call Center will now be open on weekends.
The new call center hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“We understand that many people use our services seven days a week, and it is important that our call center is available during the same times they are riding our buses,” interim Chief Executive Officer Christopher Durand said. “This change reflects our dedication to meeting the needs of our passengers.”
