RIPTA reopens photo ID office in Kennedy Plaza
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority announced that the photo ID office will reopen four days a week starting March 1.
The photo ID Office, where passengers can process their reduced fair bus pass applications, will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The office will be closed on Thursdays for Community Site Visits, otherwise known as Photo ID Road Trips.
The Photo ID Office at RIPTA headquarters located at 705 Elmwood Ave., Providence will be closed permanently beginning Friday, March 1.
Passengers who wish to process their bus pass applications online can continue to do so.
