RIPTA to close Providence transit center survey June 30

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) plans to close the public survey for the proposed new Providence transit center on June 30.

The survey can be found here until June 30.

There will also be pop-up events for those unable to attend in-person or virtual public engagement sessions:

  • Thursday, June 27 from 5 – 7 p.m. | The Guild Beer Garden, I-195 District
  • Friday, June 28 from 6 – 8 p.m. | Central Falls Salsa Night

The transit center project will enter its feedback collection phase beginning July 1.

There will be in-person and virtual public input events during this second phase, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
