RIPTA to hold public input session on Providence Transit Center
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) and Next Wave Rhode Island Partners will hold the first in a series of public input sessions for RIPTA’s planned Providence transit center on May 13.
The event will take place from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Amica Mutal Pavilion in Providence, and will give RIPTA customers a platform to share their feedback and opinions on the new transit center.
RIPTA and Next Wave will also be on hand to discuss the project’s objectives and timeline.
