RIPTA to hold public meeting over proposed service changes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Monday in Providence the Rhode Island Public Transportation Authority is holding a community meeting on revised service changes.

The community meetings come after RIPTA postponed its original service changes which were set to begin on Saturday, April 6.

Following the delay, RIPTA officials say they made adjustments to the impacted routes in order to have the least amount of impact on passengers.

Today’s meeting is at the Providence Foundation, Commerce Center Auditorium.
