RISP arrest Fall River man in West Warwick after pursuit

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said a Fall River man was arrested after a police pursuit in West Warwick on Dec. 21.

42-year-old Clifford Ledrow, of Fall River, was charged with two counts of eluding law enforcement in high-speed pursuit, reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, vandalism – malicious damage to property, and duty to stop for accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle.

According to RISP, police were attempting to stop Ledrow’s vehicle on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick when he allegedly caused a police pursuit.

Troopers were able to arrest Ledrow around 12:15 a.m.

He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned.

The defendant was taken to the Providence Police Department, where he had an arrest warrant for sexual assault and felony assault.
