RISPCA, HSUS work together for ritualistic animal killing investigations

RIVERSIDE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Humane Society of the United States has offered a $5,000 reward alongside the RISPCA to support their ongoing investigation of animal cruelty surrounding ritualistic killings of chickens throughout Rhode Island.
The killings were deemed too brutal and not humane killings that would classified as religious exemptions.
“We have been working on this case for over 1.5 years. Hopefully this reward will allow us to secure information to lead to a closure of this case.” Earl Newman, the RISPCA humane law enforcement agent responding to these killings, remarked.
