Road closed in Cumberland due to gas leak

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) – A stretch of road in Cumberland is closed after a gas leak was reported.

Ann and Hope Way in southeastern Cumberland has been temporarily closed due to the leak, according to the Cumberland Police Department.

Rhode Island Energy crews are working on the repair, police said Sunday.

Officials said updates will be provided when the road re-opens.
