Road closed in Uxbridge due to snapped power pole

UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Uxbridge Police Department said that Old Elmdale Road is closed due to a snapped utility pole.

The closure is near Bernat Mill Antiques and is due to the pole being in the roadway.

The department said National Grid is on scene working to restore power to the area.

There is no current estimate for when the power will return.
