Road closures and detours to be put in place for Uxbridge Santa Parade
UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Uxbridge Police Department said that multiple road closures and detours will be in place for the Uxbridge Holiday Night and Santa Parade on Dec. 7.
The following closures will be in place at the listed times:
- Court Street from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.
- Rivulet Street from Guertin Avenue to West Hartford Avenue from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for parade staging.
- Elm Street from Rivulet Street to West Hartford Avenue from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for parade staging.
- Sayles Street from 3 p.m. until the parade passes.
- North Main Street from Rivulet Street to Snowling Road from 4:15 p.m. until parade passes.
- North Main Street from Douglas Street to Snowling Road from 4:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- No parking on either side of Snowling Road all day.
- No Parking on either side of Carney Street from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The following detours will be in place from 4:30 p.m. until the end of activities:
- Westbound traffic from Mendon Street – Oak Street/Granite Street/Hartford Avenue East;
- Eastbound traffic from Douglas Street – Carney Street/High Street/South Main Street/Blackstone Street;
- Southbound traffic from North Main Street – Guertin Avenue/Brookside-Hazel Street/Cross Street/Douglas Street/Carney Street/High Street;
- Northbound traffic from South Main Street – High Street/Carney Street/Douglas Street/Snowling Road.
