Road Work to continue on Pell Bridge

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Road work will continue on the Pell Bridge today.

Starting at 7 a.m., the left lane on JT Connell Highway from the Route 138 overpass to Van Zandt avenue will be closed.

The Rhode Island of Transportation will also be alternating lane closures on Halsey Street from the JT Connell Connector to Admiral Kalbfus Road.

Electrical work will also be taking place in parts of Van Zandt Avenue, as well as

America’s Cup Avenue from Popular Street to Popular Street.
