Robert Kraft presents $40K in donations for two Rhode Island nonprofits

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft joined Gov. Dan McKee on Tuesday to present $40,000 in donations for two Rhode Island nonprofits.
Man Up, Inc. and Youth in Action will each receive a $20,000 donation from the New England Patriots Foundation. This was made possible by the Rhode Island charity license plate program.
For years, Patriots fans in Rhode Island have had the chance to show their team pride on their license plate.
Last fall, the Kraft family and the New England Patriots Foundation teamed up with the Rhode Island DMV on a new Patriots license plate design in Rhode Island, celebrating the team’s six Super Bowl championships.
Proceeds from the Patriots license plates directly help the philanthropic work of the Kraft family and the New England Patriots Foundation in the Ocean State.
