Roger Williams Park Zoo celebrates opening of new red panda habitat

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Roger Williams Park Zoo will be holding a “bamboo cutting” for its new red panda habitat.

The state-of-the-art sanctuary was designed for optimal comfort for inhabitants Kendji and Zan, and a fun and educational experience for zoo visitors.

Providence Mayor Brett Smiley attended the event.
