Roger Williams Zoo elephants celebrate 40th birthday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Roger Williams Park Zoo said that its elephants Alice, Ginny, and Kate were celebrating their 40th birthday on Saturday.

The zoo had activities scheduled for the day, including keeper chats, paintings by the elephants, and cake and Del’s lemonade for the elephants and guests.

Visitors will also be able to sign a birthday card.
