Food truck rolls over on Interstate 95 south in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A food truck rolled over on Interstate 95 south in Warwick early Friday morning.

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said the crash happened at exit 15 near Jefferson Boulevard.

The crash caused heavy delays, backing up traffic 21 minutes from Route 10 in Cranston to Route 37 in Warwick. Typically, that drive is only two minutes.

State police said the truck called a roach coach carries hot and cold meals to job sites.

Travel lanes were blocked at the exit, but were back open just before 9 a.m.

The driver sustained minor injuries, according to state police.
