Rollover crash snaps telephone poll in Rehoboth

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Rehoboth fire personnel responded to a rollover motor vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Rehoboth Fire Department Facebook post, the incident occurred on Winthrop Street between River Street and Broad Street.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage and could be seen on its side at the scene of the crash.

A telephone pole was snapped in the crash, and a large amount of debris from a vehicle could be seen in the road and surrounding area.

The road was closed to traffic as crews worked to clean up the scene.
