Route 146 road work continues

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Route 146 North from Exit 8A to 8C remains closed as crews work on the Route 146 reconstruction project.

In Lincoln, from Exit 18A to 18B, there will be alternating lane closures for bridge work during the night starting Sunday May 5, until Wednesday, May 15.

From Exit 8A to 8C, the road will be closed and will have alternating lane closures for bridge work, from Sunday to Wednesday nights until 6 a.m.

In Providence, all traffic on Route 146 south under the Hawkins Street Bridge has shifted to the left through early May, then will shift to the right until the end of June
