Rt. 6 closed in Seekonk after car crashes into utility pole

SEEKONK, Mass (WLNE) — Route 6 in Seekonk is currently closed after a car crashed into a utility pole and caused outages in the area.

Police said the car crash occurred near the FedEx building on Route 6 around 8 p.m.

Currently, more than 100 people are without power. 

Officers were unable to say when the road would be back open.
