Saje Kitchen ordered to stay closed until hearing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation has ordered Saje Kitchen to stay closed until next Thursday.

Earlier in the month, Saje Kitchen was one of many nightclubs to close in Providence after trends of violence.

The restaurant’s owner was arrested after he was allegedly involved in the fight, and police allege he punched the victim during the fight.

Saje Kitchen will remain closed until next Thursday on December 5, when the Providence Board of Licenses hearing will be held.
