Sawyer students to get answers next week

Former students of the Sawyer School will have answers next week.
The Rhode Island Department of Education will host an all day event on Thursday Jan. 17 where students affected by the abrupt closure of the Sawyer School and recent graduates will be able to gain access to their academic records. Students will also be offered information on transfers and financial aid information.
The event will take place at the Community College of Rhode Island's Liston Campus at 1 Hilton Street in Providence.
General information sessions will be held at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. where students can ask questions and concerns over financial aid will be discussed. Transfer options will also be a matter for discussion.
