Overcast and mild

Overcast and mild this afternoon.  Gray skies across the region to wrap up the final work week of the year.  This final Friday is shaping out to be on the mild side.  The chance for scattered showers will extend into tomorrow with mild temperatures, mid to upper-40s.  Drier and partial clearing expected by the afternoon with chilly temperatures overnight into Sunday.  New Year’s Eve day will be sunny and temperatures falling back to seasonable, low 40s.  Dry conditions will continue into Monday, New Year’s Day.  We’ll see more clouds and temperatures in the low 40s.  Expect similar conditions through middle of the week.  By Thursday, we could see the impact of a storm.  At this moment, forecast confidence is low.  Stay tuned…
