Scituate man arrested on drug trafficking charges in East Bridgewater

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — The East Bridgewater Police Department said a Scituate man was arrested for alleged drug trafficking charges on Feb. 27.

29-year-old Patrick O’Toole was charged with trafficking 18 or more grams of cocaine, trafficking 10 or more grams of fentanyl, and possession of a Class B substance.

An officer was training with their K-9 on North Bedford Street when he recognized O’Toole, who allegedly was the subject of a narcotics investigation and who had outstanding arrest warrants.

O’Toole was then placed under arrest, and a search allegedly found 22 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of fentanyl, five suboxone pills, and $820 in cash.

He was arraigned in Brockton District Court on Wednesday.
