Search continues for missing Rehoboth teen
REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Police in Rehoboth left no stone unturned Wednesday as they continued the search for a missing teenager.
18-year-old Kylee Monteiro was reported missing on Aug. 7, and a lot of questions are still yet to be answered.
The Rehoboth Police Department said Wednesday afternoon there was no update to share in the search for the teen despite hours of searching.
Monteiro was described as six feet tall with light brown hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen near County Street, where police spent much of Wednesday searching on the ground, in the air, and even in the water.
A staging area was set up at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, as dozens of officers from multiple agencies took turns scouring the area.
Monteiro’s sister said on social media that she was three months pregnant.
Rehoboth police are asking anyone with information to reach out (508-252-3722), especially those who may have surveillance footage of the County Street area.
This is a developing story — ABC6 will provide updates as additional information is released.
