PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Coast guard says they have suspended a search of the Seekonk River in Providence after they did not find a man who was reported to have fallen into the water.
Coast Guard officials say they thoroughly searched the waters along with police in an attempt to find the man, but their search turned up nothing.
The Coast Guard said that someone had called rescue around 6 p.m. to report that they had seen a man fall into the water near the Washington Bridge.
