Second annual WaterFire Day announced for April 18

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — WaterFire Providence announced April 18 as the second annual WaterFire Day as well as the first WaterFire of the year.
WaterFire will light the twelve stationary braziers in the Providence River at this event which starts at 7 p.m.
The lighting ceremony itself will start at 7:30 p.m.
Providence Mayor Brett Smiley as well as the co-CEOs of WaterFire Peter Mello and Barnaby Evans will be in attendance.
WaterFire Providence will also host a community partner fundraiser with businesses such as Bayberry Garden, Moonshine Alley and Plant City.
All community partner businesses will donate ten percent of their April 18 sales to WaterFire Providence.
