Second suspect linked to Fall River double-homicide to appear in court

FALL RIVER, MASS (WLNE) – A second suspect connected to the double-homicide in Fall River is set to appear in court on Wednesday.

21-year-old Fall River resident, Dana Mazyck, was arrested on May 25h and charged with carrying an illegal firearm, carrying a loaded illegal firearm, and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Mazyck made an appearance in Fall River District Court where he was ordered held in jail, pending results of Wednesday’s dangerousness hearing.

Officers responded to 5th Street Near Griffin Park for a reported shooting on May 18.

There they found 29-year-old Jovaughn Antonio and 14-year-old Miguel Sanjurjo suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were rushed to an area hospital and pronounced deceased.
