Secretary of State Gorbea tests positive for coronavirus

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Democratic gubernatorial candidate and Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a tweet Tuesday, Gorbea wrote she’s experiencing mild symptoms and will quarantine at home for five days. 

Gorbea, who’s vaccinated, said that she wanted to remind everyone to take care of one another in the wake of her positive test.
