Seekonk police search for two men accused of separate robberies

SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) — Seekonk police are searching for two male suspects accused of separate robberies.
The first suspect is accused of robbing a Rockland Trust Bank Thursday on Fall River Avenue.
Capt. Matthew Jardine said the male passed a note and stole an undetermined amount of cash.
Police said the suspect appeared to be a white male with a medium build. He was wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans, a white baseball hat, glasses, and a surgical mask.
The second incident happened on June 18 at about 7:15 p.m. in the Ocean Job Lot parking lot on Highland Avenue.
Capt. Jardine said the man approached a female sitting in her car alone. The man then approached her and demanded cash. The female felt threatened enough to give the man money.
The victim described the suspect as a “light-skinned Hispanic male with a thin build, black bushy hair. He was wearing a red t-shirt and dark colored shorts. The suspect was also reported to be yelling “Bible verses”.
Over a week later, Seekonk police received reports of a male fitting the same description pointing a gun towards drivers.
The incident happened near the Bed, Bath, and Beyond on Highland Park Avenue around 9:30 a.m.
Anyone with information on either suspects is asked to call the Seekonk Police Department at 508-336-8123.
