Multi-car accident on I-95 North causes heavy travel delays
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A collision between several vehicles occurred on I-95 North near the Thurbers Avenue exit.
ABC6 News Crews arrived to the scene of the accident shortly after it was reported.
The accident immediately caused a delay in travel, as multiple ambulances, Providence Fire, and State Police worked to close off three lanes of travel to address the accident.
Heavy damage could be seen on the vehicles involved in the crash.
The status of the operators are unknown, but several ambulances were seen arriving to the scene.

Multiple vehicles were being towed from the scene as investigations continue.
