Seven people displaced by Thursday morning Raynham house fire

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Seven people have been displaced by a house fire in Raynham Thursday.

Crews were alerted to the fire at approximately 8 a.m. on Broadway, and Route 138 near the 1,500 block of the street was shut down.

The back of the residence sustained significant damage, according to the Raynham fire chief, and the American Red Cross is assisting the family.

Several pets were rescued during the fire, but the department believes that others might not have made it out of the residence.
