Several Fall River streets closed for construction

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Ferreira Corporation will be doing work on several Fall River streets this week, which will be contingent on weather.

The following streets will be affected:

• Birch Street, from King Street to Bay Street
• Union Street, from Columbia Street to Williams Street
• Hope Street, from Union Street to Broadway

Drivers are asked to schedule their commutes accordingly and to seek alternative routes.

Detour signs will be in place and police details will be present.
