Severe injuries after accident in Westerly
WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Dunn’s Corner Fire Department said that two people had severe traumatic injuries occurred after an accident on the intersection of Shore Road and Route 1 Saturday.
The accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. and involved a two occupants of a motorcycle.
Firefighters said they originally called for medflight for both victims but cancelled it when there were enough ambulances on scene.
The incident is under investigation.
