Shots fired in Garden City Center parking lot in Cranston; arrests made
CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston police responded to a shots fired call at Garden City Center Wednesday morning.
Cranston police Col. Michael Winquist said a man was shot at while walking out of the gym.
It happened just after 11:45 a.m., Winquist said.
The man was not hit by any of the bullets, police said.
Winquist said the incident appeared to be targeted.

The crime scene was located in front of the Verizon store and LA Fitness gym.
Winquist said Rhode Island State Police saw a suspect vehicle on Route 6.
That vehicle was pursued into the parking garage at the Providence Place Mall, Winquist said.
Three people were arrested at the mall and a gun was recovered, Winquist said.
