Shots fired in Providence on Christmas morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE): Providence police are investigating after shots were fired on Atwells Avenue right before 1:30 a.m. on Christmas morning.
According to Commander Thomas Verdi, police found.7 shell casings in the area.
A 17-year-old man told police he was walking with a friend when two men wearing dark clothing and masks were walking from Carleton St. and one of them began firing two firearms at him and his friend.
The victim told police the suspect appeared to be holding a handgun in each hand and said as soon as he heard the shots he ran to Julian St. and hid underneath a car until police arrived.
The victim was not injured, according to Commander Verdi.
