PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Friends and classmates of Gianna Cirella are keeping her memory alive in a number of ways including raising money to bring awareness to the  very thing which took her life. Part of that effort included trying to get a signed Tom Brady jersey.

In order to gain some momentum, they turned to social media for help, and it worked. ABC6 News reporter John Krinjak has the story.
