Singer for Great White, band who played the night of the Station Nightclub Fire, dies

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Jack Russell, founding member and vocalist for glam metal band Great White, died on Thursday.
The band was the act that played at the Station Nightclub the night of the fire that claimed 100 lives in 2003.
A family member posted on social media that he died “peacefully in his home.”

The cause of death has not been released.
Russell retired from the band in July 2024.
