Six Central Falls residents charged after discovery of body in Pawtucket wooded area
CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — Six individuals have been charged by the Central Falls Police Department after they allegedly failed to report the death of a 24-year-old woman.
Pawtucket police detectives notified their Central Falls PD counterparts of the discovery of a body in a wooded area in Pawtucket on Monday, according to Central Falls police.
The investigation determined that the body of Erica Bader had been placed in the wooded area after she had died in another location.
Investigators deemed the death suspicious and were led to a residence on Central Street in Central Falls, according to police.
Detectives from both cities questioned multiple subjects regarding the incident, later charging the following Central Falls individuals with failure to report a death.

- Christopher Kordalewski, 22
- Elizabeth Durand, 40
- Andrew Cornell, 28
- Stephanie Bletzer, 37
- Brittney Terpening, 34
Terpening is also charged with domestic felony assault.
All six individuals were arraigned at 6th District Court in Providence.
Investigators and the RI Medical Examiner’s office are still working to determine what occurred in the lead up to Bader’s death and the investigation remains open.
Additional charges are possible.
