Six people displaced from home on Christmas

NORTH PROVIDENCE, (WLNE): A North Providence family is displaced from their home after a fire on Christmas.

Firefighters put out the fire on Smithfield Road around 9:30 p.m.

No one was hurt but the house is unlivable from the damage.

The Red Cross is helping all six family members.

Fire officials tell ABC6 News they believe the fire starting in the attic but the cause is still under investigation.
