Skid marks found on American Flag crosswalk in East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva said that the East Providence Police Department was investigating skid marks found on an American Flag-themed sidewalk in the city.

DaSilva said some sidewalks in the city were painted in preparation for the city’s Memorial Day Parade.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact the police department at 401-435-7600.
