Skiers, snowboarders spend the first snowfall of the year at Yawgoo Valley
EXETER, R.I. (WLNE) — The first snowfall of the season made for a busy Sunday at Rhode Island’s favorite spot for sledding, skiing, and snowboarding.
Many families headed out to Yawgoo Valley Ski Area in Exeter for some fun as more snow stuck to the ground.
“I would say the weather is bringing in more people who usually wouldn’t think of skiing today. The snow gets everyone excited,” said Operations Manager Danielle D’Andrea.

Yawgoo Valley offered skiing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
