Smoky Start to the Week
We’ve had a rather cloudless Monday, though it doesn’t seem like it! It’s been awfully hazy due to smoke from Canadian wildfires making it all the way down to Southern New England. Because of that smoke, we have an Air Quality Alert in place until midnight. If you have asthma, COPD, heart disease, or other issues that impact your respiratory system, you want to use extra caution while outside and avoid doing strenuous activities outdoors until the alert ends.
Otherwise, tonight will be comfortable, with a few clouds and temperatures in the low to mid 60s.
Tomorrow will be partly to mostly cloudy. Highs will be in the upper 70s for the coast and low to mid 80s inland. We may have a stray shower in the evening as a cold front moves into the region, but the day is mostly dry.
Most of the week, in fact, is dry, as high pressure is largely in charge of this forecast!
