As Snow Ends, Few Issues Reported

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A check of area highways Saturday evening showed the heavy wet snow had a variety of impacts, but there was no significant effect on travel.

ABC6 checked DOT cameras in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, which showed mostly wet, but slush covered roads, during the heaviest of the snow Saturday night.  More slippery conditions were reported on side streets.

Conditions were forecast to improve overnight into Sunday morning as the Nor’Easter responsible for Saturday’s snow, rain and high winds moved away from Southern New England.
