Soggy Start to the Weekend
Today has been gray, but at least it’s been dry. Later tonight, expect some mist and drizzle along the coast, and a stray shower isn’t out of the question before midnight. That said, the big stuff arrives in the early hours of our Saturday morning. Starting around 1:30/2 AM, light rain will move into the area, becoming heavier in spots as we get closer to dawn. Rain will continue on and off throughout the morning, and we could hear a rumble of thunder as well.
We’ll get a break late morning and afternoon, but a second round or rain looks to return Saturday evening and night. This won’t be as widespread or heavy as the morning round, but it’s still a cause to keep an eye (and ear) to the sky with a rumble of thunder possible once again.
Highs on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 60s and low 70s.
Sunday starts off with an early shower or two, but gets better throughout the day. A stray shower could linger later, but we’ll also have more sunshine by the end of the afternoon. It’ll be breezy as well, but a decent enough day if you’re itching to get outdoors. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.
Monday through Thursday looks like a great stretch of weather! It will be mostly sunny, and temperatures will progressively warm through the 70s each day!
