Soggy turkey on the menu this year
We have a few rain events to tell you about this week, which is overall good news!
The unfortunate part is that one of them falls on Thanksgiving.
First, a minor rain storm will move through during the late morning and early afternoon hours on Tuesday. Not a lot of rain is expected from this. It will also be the warmest day for a while.
For anyone traveling on Wednesday, skies will be sunny, with high temperatures close to 50.
Things go back downhill by Thanksgiving morning as a chilly rain moves in. This rain will be heavier at times than what we see tomorrow, as it is a stronger storm.
If you have to travel to the northwest on Thursday, things will be treacherous as rain changes over to snow in higher elevations such as Western Mass and beyond.
Rain exits Thursday night and skies should begin to clear by Black Friday morning. The rest of the holiday weekend will be mostly sunny, but breezy and with colder temperatures each day.
The long term pattern into December looks cold!
